Just DON'T DO IT! Buy your phone where you live and will use it and you'll never have to worry about parts or service options. Apple Service centers in India routinely refuse to touch phones which weren't purchased in India. If you think you'll save money by buying a phone elsewhere, think again. Any cost savings will evaporate and then some if you need service. It's simply NOT worth the hassle.

Apple does not have an "international" warranty, so you would be very wise to assume that if you buy a phone in Dubai, the warranty will not be good in India.

The same would be true if you purchased an iPhone in the U.S. and the phone required service in India.

The authorized Apple repair shop in India might be able to help with warranty....and they might not. It is impossible for users in the U.S. to predict what answer that you might receive from a shop in India.

From experience, I can tell you that an iPhone purchased in the U.S. will not be covered by the warranty in the U.K.

What you should do is contact the authorized Apple repair shop that you would use in India and ask them if they will honor the warranty for an iPhone purchased in another country.

If the shop's answer is "yes".......ask for this in writing from the shop.

Specifically:

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE, iPAD, APPLE TV, HOMEPOD, AND APPLE VISION PRO SERVICE.

Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, HomePod, and Apple Vision Pro to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.

It is not just the warranty, one day not too soon you might want a new battery and they probably will not fit one. Buy the phone where you live.
