Hello. After installing iOS 26, my battery started draining very quickly. Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem? How can I fix the fast battery drain issue in iOS 26? Will there be a fix for this? Will it take a long time?

Give it 3-4 days to index files in the background and optimize photos for object detection of any algorithms. If you have a large photo library, may give it another day or two. The battery drain and laggy performance is expected during this time and in addition you may find that the device is running warmer than usual.

I had that for about four days after upgrading Monday. My iPhone SE 2020 now seems back to giving normal runtimes between charging.
