notice one thing after updating to ios 26 poket mode is not working if you place your hand half of top screen and tap ine finger bottom pf screen your iphone will wake up. This problem caused after ios 26.

In android it's known as pocket mode in IOS idk, but the problem is cover full screen with cloth or any hard material and leave just gap of one finger .
after covering tap on the screen it will wake, before ios 26. that thing wasn't happening .
