My iPhone 17 Pro Max order is still under processing

UM........you ordered your phone from Verizon, NOT Apple. So why you'd come to an Apple forum to express your concern about a phone you didn't order from Apple is unclear? Go to a Verizon forum and see what other Verizon customers have to say. Apple isn't in charge of when Verizon fulfills orders.

Maybe next time order from Apple directly. Apple did deliver my phone when they said they would. But two of my best friends are still waiting for their phones from Verizon. Which again, is an issue with Verizon, not Apple.

Read the thread. The status will stay on processing until JUST before the phone is preparing to ship. This is normal.

Then you should check with AT&T. Apple has nothing to do with when AT&T fulfills orders.

My phone was (no exaggeration) delivered while I was reading this post wondering when it would ship. As of an hour ago, it still said preparing shipment with estimated delivery dates from 9/24/25-9/29/25.

Apparently, they don’t always update the processing/shipped status.

You should call Apple Support on this. What did you order, (model, size, storage capacity)?

No one here can update you about your order. This isn't Apple Support. This is a user to user only forum. We have no way to check the status of your order. You have an order number. What does it say about when you can expect your phone? All Apple Orders list the date range on the order.

Pre-ordered within minutes of the phone ordering on apple.com Sep 12th - delivery to local apple store since it site said order would arrive quicker if I picked up. Has said preparing to ship since Sept 28th every 'arrives' date, it move s back 2 days. I literally have 12 emails stating the delivery date has been changed. You can't cancel because its in 'prepared to ship' status - so waiting it out....maybe I will get it this year.

It's the 4th. Nothing is wrong. Your phone will arrive within the timeframe Apple has specified. And your card will NEVER be charged until the status changes to Preparing to Ship.

There are ONLY 3 Statuses with orders:

• Processing - Confirms your order is accepted and committed. It will remain in Processing until the phone is being prepared to ship.
• Preparing to Ship - Apple has your phone, your card will now be charged.
• Shipped - Your phone has been handed to the carrier and you'll receive a tracking email from Apple, so you can track your shipment.

Why? The demand for the devices in specific colors and storage capacity are experiencing a greater demand than the available supply.

Order my Orange 512gb 17 pro max on the 29th of September from Verizon, said it was estimated to be delivered on the 10th of October and it’s now the 13th yet still no phone. Message chat support today told me it would ship multiple times the week of the 10th and never did was told today it would ship out the 14th but definitely not holding my breathe. Just insane how much they can lie to you lol

I am in the same boat. Delivery window 24-29th. Been sitting saying ready to ship since Monday. My wife’s phone changed to that status today. Hoping ours ship soon.

I checked and my CC was charged two days ago for my phone. No charge yet for my wife’s.

I ordered my iPhone 17 pro max 512 GB (Cosmic Orange) on 09/17 and it states it’s to be delivered 10/08-10/15 however it’s still processing as well and my card hasn’t been charged. I was told there’s no delays showing but now I’m not so sure.

If your credit card has been charged, that's a good sign the status will soon change to preparing to ship.

Hello my iPhone 17 PM was in the processing, process for about a week . I placed the order oct 10th 2025 the arrival time was between October 21st -28th , On the 20th it moved to preparing to ship so hopefully it’s here by Friday , also I hope this helps a little
