Hello all, is there anyway who bought the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the status still stuck in processing since September 12th?

UM........you ordered your phone from Verizon, NOT Apple. So why you'd come to an Apple forum to express your concern about a phone you didn't order from Apple is unclear? Go to a Verizon forum and see what other Verizon customers have to say. Apple isn't in charge of when Verizon fulfills orders.


Maybe next time order from Apple directly. Apple did deliver my phone when they said they would. But two of my best friends are still waiting for their phones from Verizon. Which again, is an issue with Verizon, not Apple.

No one here can update you about your order. This isn't Apple Support. This is a user to user only forum. We have no way to check the status of your order. You have an order number. What does it say about when you can expect your phone? All Apple Orders list the date range on the order.

Pre-ordered within minutes of the phone ordering on apple.com Sep 12th - delivery to local apple store since it site said order would arrive quicker if I picked up. Has said preparing to ship since Sept 28th every 'arrives' date, it move s back 2 days. I literally have 12 emails stating the delivery date has been changed. You can't cancel because its in 'prepared to ship' status - so waiting it out....maybe I will get it this year.

It's the 4th. Nothing is wrong. Your phone will arrive within the timeframe Apple has specified. And your card will NEVER be charged until the status changes to Preparing to Ship.


There are ONLY 3 Statuses with orders:


  • Processing - Confirms your order is accepted and committed. It will remain in Processing until the phone is being prepared to ship.
  • Preparing to Ship - Apple has your phone, your card will now be charged.
  • Shipped - Your phone has been handed to the carrier and you'll receive a tracking email from Apple, so you can track your shipment.

Order my Orange 512gb 17 pro max on the 29th of September from Verizon, said it was estimated to be delivered on the 10th of October and it’s now the 13th yet still no phone. Message chat support today told me it would ship multiple times the week of the 10th and never did was told today it would ship out the 14th but definitely not holding my breathe. Just insane how much they can lie to you lol
