Following the brand new update to my iPhone 15 , the new icon layout puts a white border round my icons. I had spent ages making icons without borders that floated on my plain background . It says the new update is fully changeable but HOW do I get rid of these new bordered icons

I share this opinion 100%..... And that says a lot as I own about $15k of Apple products.
Sorry to disagree. It is bad. For visual people, it is horrible. On the positive side, I will probably use my phone less.
Instead of complaining to only another user on a user to user only forum, which Apple neither participates nor reads for user feedback, gets you nothing.

It has NOTHING to do with “technology moving forward”. It was a (in my opinion mis-guided) design decision that no one was asking for.
This does not work on an Apple iPhone 16 Pro. Thanks for trying though.
