Apple Watch Series 8 not charging (not keeping a charge) after OS 26 update

My Apple Watch Series 8, since updating to WatchOS 26 has had issues both charging and keeping a charge.

Prior to the update the watch gave me a day and a half of usage, but since the update the charging seems to fluctuate on and off and when I did get it to 100%, died off within an hour. I've tried two different charging devices, but no success.

Not sure what to do.
