After updating to iOS 26, when I try to make contactless payments, the NFC app remains in a waiting state. It doesn't give any error messages, it just waits.
I contacted Apple Support, and they ran a remote hardware diagnosis and found no faulty components. They say it's software-related and I should wait for iOS 26.0.1, but I can't find anyone online with the same problem.
Is it possible they'll fix this problem with iOS 26.0.1?

my ios26.1.0 IPmini13 nfc's public transport pay doesnt work today 12oclock, it worked until i went to school on morning 8:40.
app is worked when it touched, but payment device on bus didnt react and zero charge displayed on phone payment app.
in addition, wireless charge didnt work on same time, on gym machine, it didnt work. and im looking for these bugs on other community, someone saying i had same problems and it worked well after when he did reboot his phone, and i rebooted so it worked! wireless charge worked on same gym machine and transport fee worked well.
it seems many IP users had same trouble on it, so it has to be get resolved as soon as possible.
Have you had Apple perform diagnostics on your device to verify NFC hardware is active?
In my case, that solution doesn't work. It's an iOS 26 problem with no solution from Apple since version 26.0.
I can't pay with Apple Pay or read NFC tags.
