What to do when Apple Watch doesn’t show steps covered?

Have been using Pedometer ++ to add step count on my apple watch 10. Last evening Sept 22nd, , the step count did not show up. I tried to reinstall but the apple step pedometer seems to override. It does not show steps on main screen only distance. How can I now show steps on watch main screen.

Apple Watch not displaying steps in Pedometer But steps are being counted, just not displayed on the watch when using pedometer and selecting outdoor walk (and walking). Just changed iphones to a new 16 pro max.
