Updated to Tahoe (macOS 26) and now printers do not print

After Tahoe 2, I was unable to use the scanner. I ended up talking with Brother and then I reinstalled the printer. Then I couldn't use Screenshot. I talked with an Apple representative and he had me move everything to the Cloud! After a couple of days, we moved everything back and as soon as I figureI hope you get it figured out!!d it all out, it was ok except I lost some older emails??

I've finally got both of my Canon multi-function laser printers to print at least. However, I'm still not able to scan, from either of them. I've deleted and re-added both to the Mac printer list (in Settings). No luck. Then I deleted the drivers, re-downloaded the latest drivers from Canon, tried to re-install them, and then add them back in Settings. Prints but doesn't Scan. Can somebody help me?

By the way, this is complete BS. How can Apple upgrade to either a major or minor upgrade version and not properly regression test? These printers aren't exactly ancient. Canon D570 and Canon Color imageclass MF656cdw. My Mac mini is now on Tahoe 26.5. I wish I'd known; I wouldn't have upgraded until they fixed this....

I have the same error when the shared printer is added from the "Printers & Scanners" as when it is configured in cups.

My Canon TS8300 series went offline after a couple minutes and never re-connects. I tried reinstalling but with same disconnects after couple minutes. Will never print anything.

The version with the issue is MacOS 26.01. I incorrectly stated 26.1 in my last post.

I am also having the same issued, only with MS Apps. There are no settings in the print app.

i only had the problem with acrobat reader. have to re-download after 16.1 .... AND 16.2. thanks Adobe!
