Apple Maps is using 30GB of storage, even after deletion on iPhone

Apple Maps has taken up tons of storage on my device, it started about a year ago and started at 1GB, so I deleted the app and thought that would fix it… it kept going up. From 1GB to 5GB, to 10GB, and now it’s currently at 30GB, I’ve tried every single thing I’ve been told would work and I’m losing hope, please help I want my storage back so I don’t have to reset my phone anytime I want to simply use Snapchat or other apps.
