Apple Maps is taking up 13 GB of my iPhone storage for some reason and it continues to rise. It has periods where it is dormant, but it has periods where it spikes up too. I do not wish to factory reset my iPhone, is there any solution to this issue? Thank you.

I too am having this problem, and nothing in the replies is helpful or does anything to reduce the 13+gb of unnecessary space the Apple Maps app is taking up.
So you deleted your offline maps? What iPhone and what iOS version are you using?
