Today I was preparing an email on my 13 Mini and was expecting a call from the doctor. My phone went straight to voicemail. This was extremely distressing. Why would this happen. I checked all settings that were recommended and they were correct. Help!

Do you have your doctor’s office phone number saved in your contacts? If you didn't, and you had Silence Unknown Callers turned on, the call would have automatically been silenced and sent to voicemail. You can either add the number or turn the setting off in Settings > Apps > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers.
