Any phone has the potential to break when dropped. Apple claims that the glass is 3x more durable than previous models, but it certainly does not mean it is unbreakable. As with any phone, if you are concerned about breakage, put a screen protector on it. Personally I have had about 10 iPhones over the past 15 years and none of them have ever had a screen broken, and I never have used a case. That choice is yours, but the screen can be broken.
The one thing you will find on the internet is that stories/posts related to problems with the iPhone that also includes viruses, hacking, and spying are more likely to get upvotes and shares, just due to how many people have iPhones. On Social Media, once you read one of these posts, then the algorithm is going to target you so there will be many more of those same types of posts and that upvote cycle continues. The whole goal is those valuable upvotes and shares that are used for their own personal profit through advertising dollars.
What claims? Do you have a protective case on your phone?
