So basically I payed for Apple Music on September 27 and it’s saying I have to renew it on October 6 but I thought it’s supposed to last me a month

We aren't Apple here. This is a user to user only forum and we have no control over subscriptions. You'll need to contact Apple directly for an explanation. My guess is you likely paid for a pro-rated subscription and your subscription will renew on the 6th of each month going forward. But that's just my guess.
