Numbers app in IOS26 no longer allows switch to numeric keyboard

Just upgraded to iOS 26.0.1 and as usual wish I had waited for 26.1

The only available virtual keyboard when opening Numbers is now the base alpha one, the button to switch to the numeric pad is 'dead'.

Can't find a way to bring it to life. Using the alpha keyboard is a pain, must switch to the numbers and symbols section, with its micorscopic 'keys'. Also, the left-arrow button from the numeric pad is not available, which I sorely miss.

Any way to recover functionality?
