Small dot on MacBook Pro 14-inch screen

I bought a MacBook Pro 14 inch two days ago but there’s a small dot on the screen, I’ve cleaned my screen with a cloth but it’s still there where the mouse is currently

In most cases you can return it within the 14 days and get your money back. You would then be able to purchase a new one.


It would be up to the store how they would proceed after reporting a problem. They may want to go through the AppleCare warranty for service, which may not be as ideal or convenient for you, given that you are currently within the 14 days for a return.

If you are not happy with the purchase return it—


You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.


you have a limited 14 days for an exchange or refund for any reason—see Returns & Refunds Order status

After that it is a warranty repair, and can take weeks...if they find it a defect.
