Well, this is not an iOS 26 bug, nor a software or hardware issue, it's simply that the iPhone has not fully finished the upgrade, which is why the 3D photo does not work, or failed to load spetial scene model, to solve this issue follow the steps:
Overnight Setup for Scene Model Download
1. Connect using Wi-Fi ( very important) or you can use a hotspot instead
• Do the App Store test (try downloading a big app).
• If it downloads without warning → ✅ safe to continue.
2. Connect to the hotspot
• Make sure the Wi-Fi symbol shows at the top of your screen (not 4G/5G bars).
3. Plug iPhone into power
• Charging is required for iOS to start heavy background tasks.
4. Trigger Photos analysis
• Open Photos → Search and type words like “car,” “dog,” “tree.”
• Open Albums → People & Pets.
• This tells iOS: “I need the scene model.”
5. Lock the phone
• Press the side (power) button so the screen turns off.
• Leave it untouched, charging, on Wi-Fi.
6. Wait overnight (6–8 hours)
• iOS downloads the large AI files only when idle + charging + Wi-Fi.
7. Check in the morning
• Open Photos → Search.
• ✅ If the “Some results may not appear…” message is gone and searches are instant → full model is installed.
• Try Lock Screen Depth Effect → if it applies without error, you’re done.
