I’m waiting for my new IPhone 17 Pro to be delivered and I have been told that the phone will only use a USB-C to USB-C cable. Is this correct? I drive a 2022 MINI and I only have a USB-A port in my car. How can I charge my phone in my car?

Get a USB-A to USB-C cable.
(Not all cables are equal. Many are charge only and do not carry data for things like CarPlay or wired streaming. Pay attention when you make your purchase.)

Instead of determining which cables and adapters are "charge only", look for ones whose descriptions explicitly say that they support data transfers, preferably at USB 3.* speeds ("up to 5 Gbps" or "up to 10 Gbps").
My car only has a USB-A port. What now??
