Applecare plus coverage for iPad 9th gen in a foreign country (Brazil)

Hi. I am a resident in NY. I will be in Brazil for over a half a year starting this month.

And I have an iPad 9th generation with applecare plus.

I am wondering about if a damage happens to my iPad while I’m in Brazil and what kind of support can I expect to get in Brazil?

I know there’s an official apple store in São Paulo now I believe.

Will I be able to get a replacement if need be?

This iPad is used for work so I want to make sure I’m covered when I’m there when I have an issue with my iPad there.
