Incorrect Facebook Messenger call history after iOS 26.0.1 update

After updating iOS to version 26.0.1, Facebook Messenger calls now appear in the phone’s call history.

In the “Call History” section of Messenger, incorrect calls are also shown — calls that you never actually had with that person — including wrong times and durations, seemingly taken from other calls with different contacts.

Phone app not showing info for unknown callers on iPhone 14 with iOS 26 Phone app (recent calls) doesnt show call information when you press on i for unknown callers calls. Spotlight Search Showing Deleted Call History Subject: Spotlight Search Showing Deleted WeChat Call History I am experiencing an issue with my iPhone 14 running iOS 18.2.1 , When I use Spotlight Search, I still see recent and missed calls from the WeChat app appearing, even though I have deleted them from the app’s Recent Calls menu. Here are the steps I have taken to try to resolve the issue: 1. Deleted the call history directly from the WeChat app. 2. Disabled Spotlight Search for WeChat in Siri & Search settings. 3. Restarted the iPhone and cleared the cache in WeChat. Despite these attempts, the call records still appear in Spotlight Search. This raises concerns about privacy and data handling. Could you please advise me on how to completely remove these entries from Spotlight Search? If this is an issue with iOS, I would appreciate any information about a potential fix or update. You’ll need to talk to Facebook support about their software’s issues. Facebook developers have released several updates, one as recently as 2 days ago. Please update to latest version to see if FB developers have resolved the issue yet.
