Any non-YouTubers got Move to iOS to work in 2025?

Wondering if anyone out there in the universe (aside from YouTubers) have successfully used the Move to iOS app to transfer WhatsApp chats from ANDROID to iPhone. My first attempt was inexplicably cancelled. Now on my second attempt. Seemed like it was progressing well 65.71% (2186 of 11460 items), the estimated time increased from 2 mins to 3 minutes. About an hour later and nothing has changed. Still showing exactly the same thing. I’m terrified of the screen going to sleep and it cancelling again, but also terrified that it’s actually not working and I’m going to remain hostage for hours. I don’t know why I expect better from Apple.

I am sure you realize that the problem is only with your WhatsApp data and at one time Meta did not even allow it to be transferred from an Android phone to the iPhone. With so many people transferring to the iPhone, they have attempted to make it possible, but that has been so problematic that Meta has included 2 support articles with the specific requirements that must be followed to allow the transfer.
