Issue After iOS 26 / 26.0.1 Update – Footer Bar Moves Up While Scrolling

Dear Apple Support, since updating my iPhone 15 to iOS 26 and 26.0.1, I’ve been experiencing an issue while browsing websites — the footer bar, which normally stays fixed at the bottom, automatically moves upward and appears in the middle of the screen during scrolling. This disrupts reading and navigation across different sites. I’ve already tried restarting the device and clearing Safari’s cache, but the problem persists. Kindly look into this issue and provide a solution in the next update.

iPhone 15, iOS 26

Troubleshooting iOS Update Bugs:

You're not this only one to have reported this. What you are reporting is no more than a bug in the updates. Question is: "Just how many people have reported this to Apple?"

So, Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of your occurrence, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
