Compatibility Issue: iPhone 17 with Mercedes CLA W117 (CarPlay Distortion)

I have an iPhone 17 running iOS 26.0.1 and I experience distorted and unreadable CarPlay screen when connected via USB to my Mercedes CLA W117.

gmc carplay issues with ios 18 Updated my iPhone 14 Pro to os18 and immediately had an issue with CarPlay in my GMC. No issues in my other car (Honda Civic). Anyone else with this issue?

Can't connect to wired CarPlay with USB-C cable My 2023 Santa Fe has wired CarPlay with USB port. No problem previously connecting with USB-Lightening on old iPhone; but new iPhone 17ProMax won't connect to CarPlay with USB-C cable. Hyundai doesn't know why...Anybody know?

What has your dealer said about the issue? I’ve noticed that many auto manufacturers have had to release updated firmware and/or software to maintain compatibility.
