Apple discontinued physical SIM card trays in the US with the launch of the iPhone 14 lineup, meaning any iPhone 14 or newer model purchased in the United States can only use an eSIM. All iPhone 14, 15, and 16 models sold in the US are eSIM-only, while models sold in other countries still include a physical SIM tray.

it’s impossible to find a new one in the United States with a SIM card tray so you will have to source one from a country like Canada that still has iPhones with physical SIM card trays
