Apple car play freezing/dropping on ios26 on my 2018 Mustang GT SYNC 3

i had a iPhone 11 Pro Max. I used wired apple carplay on my 2018 mustang Gt sync 3 and never had and freezing or dropping problems. I got a new iPhone 17 pro max and bought a USB A to USB C from anker to connect it to my car. My CarPlay always freezes randomly when I’m listening to music or on a call. The screen freezes and I can’t select anything on the screen. So I have to disconnect my phone and try to connect it again! Does anyone have this same problem?! I turned off my widgets so hopefully that helps. I will be checking tomorrow.
