Random ding sound on iPhone 17 when on do not disturb
I have all notifications turned off and on do not disturb yet randomly during the night I get a ding sound like a notification

It's also possible if one of your contacts text you, they have the option to bypass the Focus and notify you. To turn that off for everyone, you can either go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Turn off Focus access. Or if you've identified and want to disable that for one contact, you can open Messages > Tap their conversation > Tap their name in the top > Scroll down and turn off Share Focus Status.
