daylight savings time when on airplane mode
Will my iphone change to the new time when on airplane mode? I'm not sure what time to set my alarm for?

If you are staying in the same place, your iPhone will automatically switch to/from DST. Being in airplane mode will not prevent this.
If, however, you are using airplane mode because you are actually on an airplane, and you are crossing time zones, your iPhone might not detect that you are in a different time zone until you exit airplane mode. One you do so, your iPhone will determine your new location and set the time zone (including DST adjustments) automatically.
