Turn off wallpaper settings for lock screen without disabling other settings

there has to be a way to TURN OFF the wallpaper change settings on the lock screen WITHOUT also having to turn off raise to wake and tap to wake function. If not this is a terrible design flaw. I'm just missing something right?

There is no need to disable Tap To Wake, or Raise To Wake. The feature that changes your wallpapers is "Photo Shuffle", and you can choose to just use a specific wallpaper that doesn't change every time you wake your iPhone.

1. On the lock screen, longpress on the screen until the Collections menu opens.

2. Swipe right, and tap the "+" icon.

3. Choose a new wallpaper in Photos, or one of the default wallpapers available (Just avoid choosing Photo Shuffle)

That's it. Now you have 1 wallpaper that doesn't change.

That way. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a setting that can disable this. I tried looking in Screen Time restrictions, but there are no settings that can prevent a long press to change the lock screen wallpaper.

The only thing you can do now is send feedback to Apple, and hope they also think it's a good idea to implement:

No this is more for turning OFF the function where you press and hold the screen to open wallpaper settings. I want to only be able to make any wallpaper adjustments from the settings menu, not any disruptive shortcuts

Sorry, but there is no setting to turn off wallpaper settings on the lock screen. If you only want to change the wallpaper via settings, then only change the wallpaper using settings and simply never long press on the lockscreen. It's your choice how you want to change wallpaper. You just can't turn off one way or the other.
