carplay not working after ios 26 update

Honda does not recognize iPhone as CarPlay after iOS 26 update. It still charges the phone and connects the Bluetooth.

CarPlay not working on iPhone after iOS 26.2 update After upgrading my phone to iOS 26.2, My apple carplay stopped working for some reason. I've tried all the options: tried different wires reset my phone and the car did a software restore. Every other phone is working except mine. Try “forgetting” the phone on the car and forget the car on your phone and then setting it up from scratch.

it also may be that your Honda needs a software/firmware update.
