I've seen other people suggest this is how Bluedart is handing the exchange of tradein's with Apple. I'm not sure why it's being handled this way, but this is how it evidently works with Bluedart, so be prepared to accommodate their process. As this is a user to user only forum, not Apple Support, we can't answer why questions here. If I were you, I'd make sure your current iPhone is backed up fully, so you can restore your backup to your new phone when Bluedart arrives.
