Expanding Area of Geofence Using Focus?

I'd like to use Do Not Disturb while participating in outdoor activities such as hiking or golf. I do not want to hear any calls or receive any notifications unless urgent. Focus only allows a very small geofence for Do Not Disturb. Is there a way to increase the size of the geofence circle so that I wouldn't receive notifications while I'm anywhere inside the area of the golf course or hiking area? I know that an alternative is to set up a schedule for Focus, but that's not my preference.

You can simply turn a DND focus on or off in Control Panel. Tap the three dots (...)

"Until I leave this location" is the only automatic turn off option but a golf course may be too big. It cannot be increased, it is currently about a quarter mile from my experience.

"Until tonight" may be a better option which you can turn off manually the same way.
