iPhone 17, 26.0.1 -> 26.1 Breaks Cellular

This problem was supposedly fixed by the 26.0.1 update. Guess what? It isn't fixed. The 26.1 update broke cellular connectivity on my iPhone 17 Pro.

Problem fixed. I used the "Restore iPhone..." function in Finder, followed by a restore from backup.

If anyone knows an easier way, please add it to the thread.

Sorry for any confusion. Cellular worked fine for me in 26.0.1. It just broke, for the first time, during the 26.1 update (which just came out).

I was referencing that this was a known issue earlier in iOS 26 releases, which was supposedly fixed. Sorry, but the bug fix wasn't thorough enough.

OK, but I successfully updated our iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max to 26.1 and cellular is working just fine on both phones. You should contact your carrier as they likely need to roll a cellular update to your iPhone.

26.0.1 didn't impact cellular on my iPhone 17 Pro Max or 17 Pro. And I just updated both phones to iOS 26.1 and cellular was not impacted at all. It seems you should have addressed any issue you had with 26.0.1 with your carrier. Waiting for an update doesn't make much sense. You need to contact your carrier for help.
