Apple Watch 10 Jet Black - Scratches/dots on the back

Purchased on November 21, 2024

There are scratch-like dots on the back for no apparent reason.

It started a few weeks after I bought it, and now there are a lot more of these dots. I opened a support case, and the feedback I received was that Apple would repair it for an estimated cost of $325 — for what seems to be a quality issue that should be covered under warranty.

This doesn’t make sense for a trusted Apple device with such a strong reputation, and it’s certainly disappointing for Apple customers (a lot of reports for this situation).

Does anyone know if there’s any option to file a claim?

Thank you.

Sorry, but as long as Apple considers this to be a cosmetic issue and does not address this in a Service Program, there is nothing you can do about it.
