WhatsApp not functioning optimally on IOS26.1 on my 13 mini
Been facing massive lags on my WA with my 13 mini ever since the upgrade to iOS 26.1.
- Scrolling of messages are laggy
- Opening of message takes a while to execute
- Typing on keyboard has at least a 1 sec lag
- Navigating thru different tabs on the app takes a while
Had tried offloading several times, shutting down and restarting after 30 secs, deleting large photos, etc. Other functions and uses of the phone and apps are perfectly fine. My iPad min 6 is working fine as well.
Apps and iOS have been updated to the latest.
It is getting frustrating especially when I need my WA for work. Therefore I would like to reach out to the community for any suggestions, advice.
