An internet connect is required to download the configuration for this profile.

I woke up with my new iPhone 16 plus screening "Software Update Complete. Your Iphone has been updated to iOS 26.1.", with options -Continue- and -Only Download Automatically-.

With either option I'm asked to connect to a Wi-Fi network (which it was already connected). I've tried with my home network, my work network, other phones sharing their network and every single one gives error:

Unable to Download Profile Configuration. An internet connection is required to download the configuration for this profile. Try again or Choose Wi-Fi Network.

This happens in loop. No matter what network I use, the same error pop-ups and I cannot do anything. This also blocks the access to my phone!

How to proceed?
