how to get chrome on macos 10.15

The current version of Chrome requires macOS 12 Big Sur or later so cannot be run on Catalina.

Your options are:

1. Update your Mac to a newer version of macOS that can support the current version of Chrome if your Mac supports it.
2. Get an older version of Chrome that does work on Catalina: https://www.google.com/chrome/other-platforms/
3. Use a different web browser that is supported on Catalina. (Firefox ESR, Vivalid and Brave still have versions for Catalina)
4. If your current Mac cannot update beyond Catalina, get a newer Mac that can run Big Sur or later so you can install the current version of Chrome.

That Mac ought to be able to run Brave for macOS 10.15. Be sure to read Release v1.69.168 (Chromium 128.0.6613.138) and scroll down to the .dmg file to download it: Brave-Browser-universal.dmg

Brave is Chrome without the Google. No one needs Chrome.

The current version of Firefox will run on Catalina.

While you can run Firefox 115 ESR on Catalina, there is no need – yet – to go with the older version.
