Rounded corners on cropped photos

"Rounded corners on cropped photos: since the last update to 26.1 the rounded corners persist in screenshots even after severe cropping. how do I switch this off? i don’t want rounded corners so i normally crop but now the corners are persisting even after cropping."

Getting Rounded Edges Off of Screenshots in iOS26:

You Can't. Right angles is not a built-in design feature for screenshots in iOS 26. So, take screenshot of what is shown to get the best rational right-angle screenshot you can. Pixelation might be off, but that's how I've been doing it.

So, what to do...

A. Take a Screenshot of a Screenshot:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: Screen Capture
4. Toggle OFF: Full-Screen Previews
5. Take: a screenshot of what is seen.
6. Use: that for the screenshot, saving it where desired.

and...

B. Recommend this to Apple:

Do your Part: These are user-to-user forums. Apple rarely reads these forums on their own time as it is.
