AirPlay receiver option missing on iPad after iPadOS 26.1

Hi, it seems that after upgrading from iPadOS 26 to iPadOS 26.1, the option to use the iPad as an AirPlay receiver has disappeared. The toggle in the settings is no longer visible, and the device is not discoverable. Is this a temporary removal that will return in a future update, or has the feature been discontinued?

Testing devices:

  • iPad Pro M1 (iPadOS 26.1.)
  • iPad Pro M2 (iPadOS 26.1.)

Hi, there is a follow-up to my question. Video streaming from the headset to the iPad is still possible. I found out that the functionality has been moved from Settings to the Apple Vision Pro app on the iPad. (Available in App Store)

Tested on iPadOS 26.2 and visionOS 26.2.

Thank you. Actually, I don’t believe the AirPlay system requirements - Apple Support page is up to date. It shows a published date of June 14, 2024, and a year and a half later I can see that the feature works on older devices than those listed for iPadOS 26.1. Also, the page doesn’t mention iOS or iPadOS at all, which makes it even more confusing.
