iPod Nano (A1446) not charging from power bank

I have an IPod Nano (A1446). Functions well and does all that it's supposed to do ( sync, play, downloads podcasts, music, etc), except charge from a power bank. I've tried three different ones. It charges with PC and AC. I have correct cables. Help...
