iPhone 17 doesn't airdrop to Macbook

iPhone 17 doesn't airdrop anything to my Macbook Pro Max M1. I had an iPhone 12 up until two weeks ago and it was working. It doesn't transfer pictures, videos, webages, nothing. How to fix this issue?

Did you make sure, that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is enabled on both devices and they are using the same Wi-Fi network, without any VPN or Firewall enabled?

Can you see your iPhone, if you open AirDrop in the menu bar?

Sometimes I have to get my iPhone really close to the MacBook Pro, to make it recognise the device.

thank you for replying.

look, all the basic troubleshoot has been done. I can clearly see both devices from each device. they're even on the same account. also, sometimes for some reasons it works, but it's very rare. most of the times I can send from mac to iphone but it takes an insane amount of time. from iphone to mac it finds the device, but when I click send it keeps loading. what's the problem?

Since the iPhone 17 series is quite new, this might also be software related, especially if it worked before, using your iPhone 12.

You should let Apple Techs know about this problem by using the Feedback link, as this is the only way to reach them.
