How to display podcasts newest to oldest but play them oldest to newest in the Podcast app?

In podcasts how can I display podcasts newest to oldest but play them oldest to newest? This functionality used to be possible but has gone on my new phone.

To display newest → oldest but play oldest → newest:

Open the show → More (•••) → Settings
Set Sort Order: Newest → Oldest
Set Episodes Follow Each Other: Oldest → Newest

These two settings together replicate the classic behavior you had on your old phone.
