Carrier RCS option not available
My carrier, T-Mobile, offers RCS messaging. I’m using an iPad Pro on iOS 26. No option to turn on RCS appears in Settings. I can’t send a message to a Samsung Android user. Is there a solution?

An ipad can only send imessage to other Apple devices.
Or order to be able to send RCS/SMS/MMS from an ipad you need an iphone and have text message forwarding enabled as outlined in this link Forward text messages from your iPhone to other devices - Apple Support
