iPhone X Bluetooth has limited range
My iphone X’s Bluetooth doesn’t discoverable for a distance mire than 3meters

Normal Bluetooth range (without obstructions or inteference) is about 10m. Neither Apple nor your fellow users can fix your observed Bluetooth range in that older iPhone.
