After the iOS update, the camera stopped working

Greetings to all. There was a problem: iPhone 14 Pro after updating to iOS 26 as soon as it came out, the 0.5x camera stopped working. More precisely, when you enter the camera, the 0.5x mode will immediately disappear (that is, you can see its millisecond) the same when switching the mode. An error about an unknown camera part popped up in the settings.

The phone is new, it hasn't been opened, it hasn't fallen, everything is in the factory, I bought it from the officials in 22. I decided to wait for a new patch. Updated to 26.1 via iTunes with data reset. It didn't help. I repeat, everything worked before 26 iOS. After the breakdown, temporarily or constantly switched to s23, that is, nothing happened to the phone during this period. Please help and understand this topic. Thank you in advance!!

After the iOS update, the camera stopped working: Hello, you never answered my problem, but just sent a message via script. The key problem is that it appeared after the update. Before that, everything worked for 3 years.

Thank you for the follow up reply.

It’s how I author my threads. I quote what I’m basing my post off of.

A. As for this Occurrence After an Update:

What you are reporting is an all too-common phenomenon reported on these forums for years. So, I recommend you get this serviced. If that is of no option, then maybe resetting this to Factory Settings would fix this. The drier for the connection have gone missing, and that’s what a factory reset is all about.

B. As for the Messages:

As for this message you speak of, any recollection of it? Google it, and see if you can find something that may represent it: https://images.google.com/. Does this screenshot ring a bell?

C. Report this Bug to Apple:

Do your Part: These are user-to-user forums. Apple rarely reads these forums on their own time as it is. So, provide Apple with feedback on this.  Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

To Provide Feedback:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all started after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
