Hello, the back glass of my iPhone 14 Pro is cracked.
I want to get an iPhone 17 Pro through the trade-in program.
What do I need to do to participate in this program?
Can I replace the back glass with a third-party product? Will Apple accept this?

That's not what the trade-in support page says. It lets you run devices with damage through the estimator.

You will need to check with Apple, but I believe they would be unlikely to offer any trade-in credits on a damaged iPhone, or on one that has been tampered with by an unauthorized third party.
And it would need Apple to repair it first, third party repairs also disqualify iphones from trade-in or service repairs.
