How to put movies on iPod Classic

Hey, I was wondering how to put Movies onto my iPod Classic 7th gen because I know how to put music on using iTunes but I don’t know how to put movies on (I’m on an iMac with macOS Catalina) (I also wanna put it on my iPod touch and nano)

How can I transfer movies in itunes on my macbook pro to iphone I have an older MacBook Pro (Intel CPU) running MacOS 10.14.3 (Mojave). When I launch iTunes app on the MBP, and look at my Library - Home Videos, I have many videos that I would like to upload / transfer to my iPhone 14. I connect my phone to MacBook via USB Lightning cable, but iTunes on the MBP does not "see" my iPhone, so I can't upload anything. The videos I want to upload play just fine on my MBP, they are m4v files. Is there any way to do this? I had been able to do this when I had my iPhone 7 and this same MacBook, same MacOS version. Thank you

you first need to compress the video to an adequate quality using an app called handbrake, then you can simply add the compressed video to your library and drag it to the ipod, I'm sorry I can't provide more detailed instructions
