Block Caller” option missing in iOS 26.1 on iPhone SE 3rd generation

NO hand icon appears when I swipe left with ne 26.1, ONLY a delete icon or a bell icon with line through it. I've never complained about an apple upgrade before BUT this one is so NOT user friendly at all. Why not keep the easy to block facility with so many crank calls these days. ALSO the liquid design is terrible for older people or people with vision issues, as is the clock and now way to change them. PLUS 26.1 doesn't seem to work with touch ID--it takes ages to try touch a few times and then have to constantly put unlock code in by finger. Clearly whoever took over from Alan Dye has not one clue about customer use design. Simplicity, visibility are key. Very disappointed and frustrated. Please help identify where the blinking hand icon for blocking appears when it doesn't appear when I swipe left as requested?

I tried to add the spam number to block it BUT it wouldn't add it. And why the heck would one add a number they want to block? Apple really has made 26.1 a worse system for users. Please put it back to the way it was where we could scroll down and click BLOCK. iOS 26.1 should improve experience NOT make it considerably worse. And get rid of that LIQUID design which is hard to read for older folks AND a white clock. I make media and no one uses white text or visual design because its impossible to read.

All the orange circle would allow me to do was let APPLE know that the information on the caller was incorrect so that they can change their caller information. It does NOT give me the option to block the caller.

What is particularly frustrating on this is that the Block button is still visible as it always was on my iPhone 16 Pro in iOS 26 - just not my sister-in-law's iPhone SE. It's just empty real estate on the SE.

Crossing fingers that the swipe trick works - but it shouldn't have to.

I would like this feature back as well for text. They took this off the text and only have a delete and add to spam, not a block contact so they don't text anymore. That may be what everyone else is mentioning. It used to be the same whether they called or texted and now you can find that yellow hand in calls but it's not available to block in text.

There is no help here, for a IPhone block carller feature, which when we had it was difficult enough to get to now cannot find it readily and I wish to Block Myanmar, and all that may call from there..

I want to reverse the upgrade, it’s made using my phone worse. I hate it. You should have figured this stuff out before it became able to update . How to block a phone number is not anywhere to be found. I don’t like the liquid affect either. This ***

I just updated to 26.5 and it still has the Block Contact at the bottom the screen when I select Info, and I go to delete it and its not showing blocked. It does not stick.

And I don't have a home button on my 17 Pro Max. How do I do it w/o a home button. There is a right button but when I click it, it locks the screen and when I open it, it's back on the same call info and Block Contact still shows but does not work.

I can't stand this, I get a dozen calls a day I need to block as I mention.

You should absolutely buy the tool that best meets your needs. If blocking numbers that are most likely spoofed in the first place is that important to you, definitely consider another solution. I don't have that on my 17 Pro Max with 26.5.2, still can't block anyone since 26.5.1 and when apple trie to call me back with support, I must have blocked them in the past and did not get the call. :-)

What is worse is my Pro Max 17 will no longer block ANYTHING after 26.5.1, yet my wife's will block EVERYTHING, CALLS, TEXT, ETC. I hate what you have done to the phone Apple, sometimes you need to just leave things alone that are not broken. I'll never upgrade again.

No it's not, my 17 Pro Max is having this same issue and there is no Home button to try that issue. I hate this, I am flooded with unwanted spam calls and there is not a thing I can do. I wish someone at Apple would get off their bottom and fix this.

I only get a blue circle w/timer and red icon with trash. No orange circle.
