iPhone Backup - Trust this Computer Problem

I recently started backing up my iPhone to my Mac desktop instead of using iCloud because I don't want to pay for more iCloud space. Every time I plug my iPhone into my Mac I'm required to "trust this computer". Is there a way around this? I would prefer it just happen automatically. This also occurs with my iPad. Not the end of the world, buy quite annoying.

To make the computer forget your device.

Change your settings for trusted computers

Your device will remember the computers you've chosen to trust. If you don’t want to trust a computer or other device anymore, reset the Location & Privacy settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

  1. Go to Settings, then tap General.
  2. Tap Transfer or Reset [Device].
  3. Tap Reset, then tap Reset Location & Privacy.

Now, when you connect your device to formerly trusted computers, the alert message will ask you whether you trust that computer.

Reset Location & Privacy: Resets the location services and privacy settings to their defaults.
