I sent someone an iMessage and it came up as Delivered straight away. I thought this person had blocked me so just want to check, can it still show as delivered even if they have blocked you?

No. If someone has blocked you, your iMessage will not show as Delivered.

It depends on the iOS version of the other phone.
For e.g iPhn1 on iOS 16.7.12 sends imessage to Phn2 on iOS 18.7.1 where Phn1 is blocked on Phn2’s contact, the message still shows as delivered. The other way round does not show delivery status. So please dont trust delivered status, call and confirm
